Yeah I don't have any HD broadcast material, limited budget here. I have my PS3 and my Xbox 360 w/HD-DVD, all my high def material comes from those machines in the form of movies or games. Well the original Xbox has a few 720p and 1080i games but they are so few, I think there was only one game I played in higher than 480p and I don't remember what it was.

for a description of the Get Smart movie and a look at the script. The guy goes over the main changes and also offers an on-set take from someone that doesn't care about the show and is judging it as a standalone movie. The trailer is good cause it has an homage to a scene from the show.
Basically almost all stars still living have refused cameos, the plot involves Max not being good enough to be an agent until all are kidnapped and killed, then he is promoted from accounting. 99 hates him and learns to love him over the movie (in the show, they clicked from episode 1). Seigfried is no longer German or funny and is now the head of Kaos. Oh yeah and Max is trying to save his hero, the best control agent, played by the Rock. Add to that the fact that the director called the show a silly comedy in serious need of an update, and made people sign to agree not to consult with Leonard Stern, Buck Henry, or Mel Brooks. Fan outcry changed this, and several weeks into filming they brought Stern, Henry, and Brooks on as consultants but apparently weren't listening to them, just boasting about having them on board in interviews. I could go on, but I'm the hardest core type of Get Smart fan with the full 138 episode set (best and biggest collection of extras I've EVER seen with a set). I'll also mention that not long into the script, Max is screaming about a rodent that crawled up his pants leg and hollering about his ass. Just not what I look for in Get Smart, shoulda made their own character. The casting is awesome, too bad the script isn't.
