I am hoping it will be vc-1 with HD DVD specs so that it can filter out all the detail, like body parts and blood, so that my 10 year old can watch it with me.

I wonder if they will go the 300 route and leave a lot of grain in it for effect?

New to the forum. Love the Rambo series and this one looks very good on Blu. This most recent installment was pleasurable to watch and definitely had the most kills per minute I've ever seen! The downside to this Rambo though is that there's really only 2/3 of a story. The characters needed a bit more fleshing out, (yes I know it's an action film), but it still seemed a bit thin overall. It would have benefitted from another 15 minutes of character development. Overall I recommend the film, but it's by no means the best Rambo in my book.
