Samsung Blu Ray player problems!?

I just got a samsung blu ray player with built in wifi from best buy today. I am trying to connect the player to my house's wireless router on order to get Internet on the thing at the moment. I put on the security code that goes with the wireless router & right now it says "Connecting to network." With the little circle thingy rotating around like it's loading or something...but it's been doing this for the past 20 minutes or so. It's driving me crazyy! Someone tell me what I could be doing wrong?? Please & thank you!
