Don't ask me how, but I have two versions of The Bourne Trilogy in my possession.
The first one I have is the American 2010 repackaged version with UPC 025192064470. This is most definitely the American version - there is no French text on the packaging, the ratings on all three films are PG-13, color is spelled the American way, the address in the fine print is 10 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA. When I entered it into the database, though, it got listed as the Alliance Canadian version.
I've just recently received another copy, this one in the original 2009 packaging with the fold-out Matt Damon, and with UPC 025195055666. This one has French writing on the packaging, the ratings are 14a or PG, color is spelled colour, the address in the fine print is Universal Studios Canada, Toronto, ON. When entered into the database this one just appears like all the other American releases I already have in my collection.
So, to sum up, I think the release regions/distributors/whatever need to be flip-flopped on these two releases.
Hope this helps!
The Bourne Trilogy - American and Canadian UPCs switched?
So to make this even more confusing the original American release in the fold-out Matt Damon packaging also has UPC 025195055666. I would expect American and Canadian releases to have different UPCs since they are different (though admittedly nearly identical) products. Apparently that's not the case.
